LECTURE

Week 1 : Introduction to Digital Photography and Imaging.

Reasons of learning photoshop is :
  • Express creativity
  • Create graphic design
  • Restoration of old images
  • Intergrate graphics with text artistically
  • Make us of brushes
  • Change photo colour
Rectify mistakes in photographs Before photoshop, photographers combined multiple images on one negative, captivated the curiosity and creativity of photographers in 1850s.



TASK

Mr Fauzi tasked us to find 3 interesting graphic designs from Pinterest and what is the reason. Also, start with physical collage using old magazines.

REFLECTION

This week is briefing session, and excited to learn photoshop because I only used photoshop for digital painting only so learning different tools benefit me to edit my photos. Also, when I look into the graphic designs in Pinterest, I explore how professionals utilised the photograph in creative and interesting way. I am looking forward to create interesting graphic designs.
