TASK
Mr Fauzi gives photoshop files to practice After Effect.
When we import the psd file directly to After Effect, we need to click '
composition- retain layer size' so that psd will import in layers.
I found puppet tool in After Effect, which allowed me to do simple rigging. I pin on the fencer's arm and left legs to create some movement

Before I start the exercise, I explore different tools such as mask tool
and pen tool to get familiarise with the programme.
In intro, I want to use circle mask with black background, hence, I create
solid colour layer and add layer mask. I animated with 'position' to move
around the masked image. I found rolling drum sound effects on youtube,
thus, I added them in the intro.

Followed by moving up the projector, I mask the black background with
rectangle shape, to express the lighting from the projector.

Same as to the shark, I pin the body of the shark to make it fluttering.

REFLECTION
I found that after effects is really interesting tool. I can animate the still image into live and to do simple rig to create some movement. While I am doing the exercise, I realised that naming each layers is really important especially when I have to import it to other software. Also, I need to name the working layers so that I don't get confused when there are many working layers. When I explore after effect, there are many effects that not covered during the tutorial, hence, I will look into the more tutorial videos on youtube to catch up the useful techniques.
