INSTRUCTION

TASK

This week, we are tasked to work our poster and animated them in After effect.

First, I decided to work with building animation as it took long time move each building position.

I imported the file in After effect and create the composition layers to separate the working layers. This will help me to identify the files easily and will not create any confusion.

In beginning, I decided to animate hanok building, because it has the least number of layers.

First, I placed them in new composition layer, and use 'position' to move the building up and down.

I placed the hand in new composition, and add the layer mask below the hand, As masking is different from photoshop, I refer to this video to study masking.

Fist, create the solid layer, and draw the areas that want to mask out using the 'pen tool'. After that, linked the solid layer to fig1.2 composition layer.
