After finalising the building animation, I moved to line animation. For tutorial I refer to this video.

Before I start, I did some research on fancy neon line drawings

Then, I used pen tool to draw the line first.

Followed by, adjusting taping, making the end of the line sharp.

In animating process, I adjust end and start time and add the time frame in between.

And this is the final outcome for the line animation.

I repeat this process for all the line animation

REFLECTION

I spent 3 weeks to complete this project. This was the most enjoyable task throughout the 14 weeks. For compositing the poster, I refer back to the basic composition skills and apply the knowledge in this task. While editing the images in adobe after effect, I refer to different tutorial videos in youtube, and realised that after effect allows me to make the animations easier. One of the challenges is, keying the timeframe for the buildings and line animation. I keep adjust and look back to check its speed. It take a long time to animate each building and line animation, but when I look at the finalised version, I was so trilled with the outcome.
